How to Become a Member

In keeping with our Core Value of Learning Continually, we ask all who desire to join our church to participate in membership preparation classes.  These are typically offered in four one-hour sessions, six times a year.  Once the class is completed, candidates for membership interview with one of our Elders.  Finally to make membership official,  candidates are introduced to the congregation in a worship service during a "Welcome to SOH" ceremony.  Candidates begin their membership as they affirm their belief that God has called them to our fellowship and are accepted into membership during a celebration time with our church family.
