Believer's Baptism

In keeping with Christ's command in Matthew 28:19, at Streams of Hope we practice believer's baptism:

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19 NIV

Baptism takes place on Sundays during the worship service when there are candidates who are prepared to be baptized. Preparation includes full instruction in the Biblical purpose of baptism.  Each baptism candidate is provided personal practical preparation for their special day of celebration.  Children and youth work closely with the children's and youth ministers for full preparation and assurance of their readiness before they are baptized.  It truly is a celebration of new life at Streams of Hope when baptism is observed.
